First of all, welcome to a newly designed addition to the virtual world of blogging! 

My name is Ryan Frueh, an IT and Cyber mercenary by trade and educator by chance!  By day, I am engaged in providing cybersecurity solutions for the United States Government/Military to support NORAD/USNORTHCOM as a consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton.  By night, I'm an educational warrior bringing my years of experience and knowledge to the physical and virtual classroom for the next generation of cybersecurity warriors, ninjas, and mercenaries to prepare for their role in protecting the innovative and evolving digital world.  I currently serve as Adjunct faculty for Pikes Peak Community College and the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and a cybersecurity instructor for Cal State University-Long Beach.  In addition to contributions to the academic sector, a desire for continuing education and commitment to life-long learning has brought me back to the academic environment as a student in a journey to complete my doctorate in computer science with an emphasis in cybersecurity information awareness with Colorado Technical University.  

In conjunction with program requirements, this blog emerges from CS 875, a futuring and innovations course designed to challenge students to envision innovative ideas and pursue those ideas' realization into tangible results. 

In a quest for continuous improvement and innovation from an intellectual perspective, self-improvement without an emphasis on physical and mental health proves challenging to support and sustain current efforts to achieve growth in academic and intellectual well-being and innovation.   Personal health, fitness, and nutrition are important to me and serve as a critical component in establishing the foundation of a comprehensive and well-rounded individual from an intellectual, personal, physical, and spiritual perspective. 

Innovations & Solutions seeks to contribute to ongoing improvements and innovations in both the virtual and physical world.  While this blog's primary focus is designed to focus on technological implementations supporting new and innovative ideas and developments, this blog's landscape is expected to have an expansive horizon spanning across the physical and digital world beyond the realm of technology.
